The surgery went fine. I can not say enough about the nurses at Catawba Valley.  I went in Friday morning @6am. They asked me if I needed anything for my nerves I said no this was what I had been waiting for. I really think they should have gave something to my husband and my mother. I was up walking almost as soon as I was to my room. It hurt but it felt so good to not be laying flat on my back.  The ice chips were great!!!! The on Saturday was better, but nothing could beat the shower  they let me take on Sunday!!! Talk about heaven. Then  home.... Trying to get the protein and water in.
