1 Year Down

Mar 02, 2012

March 1st was my 1 year since sergery and Im loving everyday of it. I just got a new sales position in San Diego CA which I will be moving to next week so there are alot of changes going on and Im a very happy camper. I am still working on getting my hair back to normal and trying to remember to stick to my diet its easier once your out of honeymoon stage to slip. Excersice is another factor which I enjoy more now then ever, I have some excess skin I would love to donate to anyone who needs it but that will have to wait. Im taking the Dr. advise and waiting my full 18 months. On a high note I have 20 more pounds to lose until I reach my goal of 160 pounds, the mark is coming real soon I can feel it. I encourage anyone who is thinking about weight loss surgery to make the move and do it for you, put yourself first. If I can do it then anyone can!

My 9 Month Mark!!!!

Dec 23, 2011

its been 9 months since surgery and life is good. 120 pounds down and I get so much attention it is crazy and looks like the weight loss is helping with my job search since i will be transfering to Dallas in 2012 which was my goal for the last few years but when going on interviews no one wants an over weight person on their sales team. I also have to let my mind make the change from shopping in the plus size department to the normal size side. That was a shock! The sales woman came to me and asked what size are you and i looked at her and told her "you know what? I have no idea!" so she gave me a few things to try on and before I knew it was I fitting into a size 11-12 and let me tell you that felt great, she then looked at me and said honey you are on the wrong side of the store this is your side now and you look good!!! I can shop at all the stores in the mall now not just Lane Bryant and I catch my self getting into alot more dresses and showing more skin then ever. My legs are so much smaller now that i have bought my 1st pair of thigh high boots and they can zip all the way also with the 7in heel and my feet dont hurt as much, I am loving the new me and I would do it all over again tomorrow!!!! My family is proud as well and my mom and brother are looking into their options of having the surgery!!!!!

Its been 6 months and counting........

Sep 13, 2011

So many things have changed where do I start? First, I must say if I was still at the weight I was during this summer I would have the worst “chub rub” ever but I am happy to report that I have lost 110 pound and counting within the last 6 months. I have a goal of losing 60 more pounds so at 10 pounds a month until my one year anniversary I will surely hit my goal weight of 140 pounds on my 5’3 frame. I have NEVER been this size in my adult life. Few of the wow moments so far were my driver’s license photos and I recently bought my first mini skirt since I was a teenager. Also, ran into an old buddy from high school and all he could say was time made me “FINE” which made me feel like I’m on top of the WORLD! To those who need any advice or support I would be happy to help!
