I had a VBG done in 2001 and did so very well with it for a few years. Then in 2005 my parents died and I had other setbacks with my personal life. Before I knew it I was back to all my old bad habbits and eating what ever I wanted. I regained all my bad weight back, and got back all my bad health issues.
I tried a couple of times to get help both from my original surgeon and from others. Got nowhere fast. My PCP advised me to keep trying and almost by accident I found Dr. Barker. He is offering help when others wanted to give up on me.
Thus I am starting over with revision from VBG to RNY Gastric Bypass.
