Hey everyone!! Sorry its been soo long but i've been addicted to youtube for a while.. Well im 1 1/2mos post op and im down 23lbs! I am exercising more than usual but the wt loss is still slow.... Im a lil bummed cuz i couldve lost more by now but im still greatful bcuz i wouldve never lost so much without my friend the sleeve!

Heyy everyone,
  I just wanted to give a lil update on how im doing. Well I am down from 284lbs to 266lbs and im 3 wks post op!! Yaay me! I am loving my sleeve and am noticing that every week is not gonna b a 5 or 6lb loss week and its ok. I am happy to b losing anything at all bcuz if ut were not for my sleeve i'd b gaining or losing absolutely nothing! So Im happy.
  On another note I was recently struggling with eating too fast but i have now got that down pact. Also I am struggling with head hunger! b4 i thought this was crazy..how dont u know when ur really hungry? i thought. but it is really hard to control bcuz im used to eating any and everything i wanted to its a struggle to realize when im just being GREEDY! But all in all I am loving life, my clothes r getting baggier and Im still cute! LOL! PEACE!

Hey everyone! Im so excited to say I am sleeved as of April 30, 2012! Im so excited and happy to say that as of 1 week ago I am down 10lbs!!!!!!!!!!! This is amazing guys!

Maryellen, thenurse at Dr. Castallanos' office, called me and said that.....drumroll please...... to say my date is April 30, 2012! I have my surgery date everyone!!!!!!! I am not so excited to say that its the day after my 35th birthday which means no drinking       :-{ and I love to drink especially on my bday! But its all worth it in the end! Im a lil nervous due to all the bad things i've heard, read, and saw on youtube... i know everyone is different but at the same time i must say im a lil worried that if something were to happen to me who would take care of my beautiful son! No worries its all gonna go well as long as I pray!

Ok so now we play the waiting game... I had my sleep study on 3/17.... got a call yesterday...all went well. So now I know for a fact that i dont have sleep apnea(which i already told them but anyway)....now we wait.. I have to wait 2 weeks to c the Dr. just so she can tell me the results. I mean cant they do that over the phone?? Save me some gas damn! Any way everything is now done and after i c the dr the nurse will submit my ppr wrk to the insurance company....then wait a lil longer for a surg date.... the nurse already told me that she would put me on the April surg list!!! YAAAYY ME!!!

            (i know this may have read a lil angry but im actually happy that its all over!!)

Im so exstatic that i can care for my son as well as myself without the any help! I can finally put weight on this leg without falling so im thrilled. the past few weeks have been very trying of my patience as well as making me more humble. when ur care is in someone else's hands all u can do is be humble. dueces!

Im in soo much pain!!! I had my knee surgery last Thursday and I'm still not walking yet, I called my Dr's office today and they told me i should b walking by now and I'm like "DUUHHHH thats y im calling" so the pain is ridiculous and the perks r not working at all. Wish me luck.

Im on a roll. Psych eval was on Thursday and I Aced it ! Yaay me! Pulmonary apointment was on Friday, madd I had to take my son with me but everyone loved him so it wasnt so bad. So now all i have left to do is my sleep study. A lil pissed cuz they made my sleep study apointment a month away and i was hoping to have it sooner but oh well!

I'm excited because i've gotten thru several appointments this week. I went to the cardiologist on Monday, Psych eval yesterday, and Pulmonary eval today! I'm doin it and doin it and doin it well!! GO ME!!

 Ok so i feel great because i had my Cardiac Eval today!! Dr. Kasper is the greatest cardiologist ever! He told me that i am all cleared and everything is looking good YAAY!!!! *sigh* im getting closer and closer to the end and i'm STOKED!! Pulmonary and Psych eval this week....let's get it!!
