Nikki had her surgery this morning. I am glad to report that it went great!!! She has gotten up and walked some. She was scheduled to spend one night in ICU (due to sleep apnea) but is in a regular room instead!! I will be seeing her tomorrow.

Nikki, I'm wishing you a successful surgery and a quick, smooth recovery. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and I have absolutely NO regrets other than not doing this a few years ago. This is without a doubt the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you begin your new, healthier life.
