Hi Ninette. Just wanted to tell you that I will be having my surgery on Jan 17 also. I know what you mean about getting scared. I'm petrified. But we have to have faith in the Lord and we will be fine. But I mean "FINE" :o) Well take care and good luck. Norma

We are on the same day!!! Alright Ninette!!!! You are on your way!! I know this is a scary and exciting time for you. You are going to do just fine!!! Just think, You are starting a journey that only a few travel. You should be very proud of yourself. I am proud of you!!!! Think of some of the new things you will be able to do like take a long bike ride, get on a amusement park ride and not worry if you will fit in the seat, cross your legs and the best of all have the energy to do these things!!! Everything will be just fine and know you have a wonderful group of people here to help you meet your needs. The best of luck on your surgery with a speedy and healthy recovery!! hi folks! my surgery has been rescheduled for january 17th. not a big deal. it's still 1 month away and starting to get a little nervous. one of dr. herron's patients' insurance was running out and they wanted to get the surgery in before that happened. so i agreed.(thinking that the good wish angel would see my good deed). anyway that's all for now. thank you to everyone who has sent me all their good wishes. Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
