heh...after reviewing what I wrote previously....I was actually 301 when I had my surgery. Was I not wanting to admit even then I that I weighed that much!?!?

12/1/05 I am 9 months post op and have now lost 102 lbs. I made my first personal goal of less than 200 this past Monday :) I was 199.5 and this is the first time I've been under 200 that I can remember since 1992. I feel fabulous and everyone that knows me from my past life tells me how great I look and how beautiful I am....I'm kinda getting used to that :) I wear make-up every day when I go anywhere and actually care about what I'm wearing and accessorize with jewerly and everything! I've still been having trouble getting motivated to exercise so I'm working on that. I've still never dumped and am careful about what I eat. I'm feeling more motivated to exercise since I reached my first goal...and now I feel like it's possible to make my final goal of 160 by March..which will be my 1 year anniversary. I read about Willie which has prompted me to update. Hope everyone is doing well. Catherine Adams

8/1/05 Down to 222. Only lost 10 lbs for the month of July so I've started really exercising. Haven't been doing much of that like I should. I'm just about halfway to goal and it's only been 5 months! Good luck to everyone :)

Was wanting to wait to update until I saw Dr. Ihde for my 3 months visit. I wanted to be 242 and I was 238!!! He said the average for 3 months is 22% and I've lost 31% so I'm totally ecstatic. I already plateued when I hit around 40 lbs but I just kept plugging away. I haven't dumped...I'm pretty anal about the sugar but my exercise is no where near what it should be. I work night shift and since I've gone back to work it's been hard and I've been having problems sleeping. The catch-22 is that if I start exercising more like I should I'll sleep better :P Also been having irregular periods (like getting it every 2-2 1/2 weeks BLECH) but gonna see if that stables out before I go see the OB-GYN..hoping it's just from the fast weight loss and changes in my body. Good luck to everyone!

4/30/05 8 weeks post-op. 291/257 and 26.5 inches total. Everyone at work tells me how great I look :) People even calling me skinny...I just say not yet..but I'm working on it and THANKS! I had to skip the gym for like 3 days in a row cuz I did too much and my thighs were KILLING me. I don't necessarily believe in no pain, no gain! I also don't want to build muscle while I'm trying to lose weight. Anyway...good luck to all of you!
