It's been just over eight weeks since my surgery and I feel great! I think I've been one of the lucky ones -- so far only one minor complication with pain and that turned out to be normal staple healing. I am so glad that I made this decision to have the surgery and I would do it over in a heartbeat! I've posted a 49 pound weight loss all without being hungry. The hardest part of this for me was making the decision to have surgery.

We share the same surgeon and I wish you a wonderful and speedy recovery. I had my surgery six weeks ago, have lost 38 pounds and never felt better! Good luck!

Hey Carrie: Only fifteen days left!!! (Still trying not to go nuts waiting). Good luck on the 21st. So many of us will be going through it together, you figure there has to be a ton of positive energy and prayers for us on that day. Take care. Hi Carrie, I'm sure you are excited and anxious about your upcoming surgery. All the best, I'm sure all will go well. I'm pre-op with Dr M also, but I'm fighting with ins co for approval. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
