Honestly, on my first visit I felt a little rushed, but......the office was also very professional. I hadn’t come for the social activity, I had come to find a competent surgeon I could trust to perform this surgery and to hopefully be successful at losing weight.rnrnDr. Swartz impressed me as being knowledgeable and caring. He said I was a perfect candidate for weight loss surgery (not sure if that is said to all the patients), but when I left the office I felt confident that I had made the right choice in choosing him for my surgeon. I just felt comfortable with him. He strikes you as very professional and intelligent.rnrnOn my first visit back after the surgery, I was feeling very depressed and tearful, and in a lot of pain. He was very understanding and sympathetic, and told me my reaction was perfectly normal...which made me feel 100 % better. Also, when I thought I was having complications a few days after surgery, I called his office and his staff put him on the phone right away! He had me come in the next morning for an appointment and to have labs drawn. Fortunately, I was fine, but I was impressed with his attention to detail. rnrnrnI would highly recommend Dr. Swart for WLS."
