Getting back into the swing of things

Well, I made it to the gym today.  Saturday I was at the Gym, Sunday I spent 3 hours sledding and 4 hours walking around downtown for the New Years Eve community event, and I did tons of laundry and took down the decorations yesturday.  I NEVER would have been able to do so much before I lost the weight.  I was a blob today and felt really depressed and icky.  I pushed myself to get to the gym tonight and no one in the family would go with me.   I almost didn't go, but then thought no, I am going to go.  I went and worked out on the bike for 30 minutes and then free weights for 30 minutes.  I am so glad that I went.  I feel so much better now.   In the past I would have not gone and worked out, so I can see that I am still finding my inner strength to work on me.  I deserve it!

FITNESS AND NUTRITION LOG

I went to the Discovery Health Channel and I read up on the Health Challenge.  They had a pretty cool Nutrition and Fitness log but it was in adobe and you couldn't type on it.  I did some adjustments in word and I formatted my own log. You are all free to use, abuse and change it if you want.  Let me know and I can send it out to you.  I will try and see how to add it on here.  Good luck in the new year!

Well, Christmas is over and the New Year approaches.  I haven't been very dilegent this past 2 months and I have gained some weight.  I am resolved to get back on the wagon again starting tomorrow.  I need to cut down on the carbs and start working out again.  The guys have stated that they want to start working out and living a better life so I won't be doing it by myself.  I am going to start with a 3 day a week work out and then progress from there.  I don't want to get back into my old habits.  I have been doing a lot of bored eating, emotional eating, and eating just because I can now.  I am going back to the basics starting with a protien drink in the AM.  I will log and let everyone know how I am doing.

This year us almost over.  I cannot believe it.  This time next year I wil be married to the greatest man in the world!  I have finally met someone who is wonderful and treats me with respect and love.  I am excited for the continued growth!
