It has been four months since my surgery and I have lost 77lbs.  I feel great except for some arthritis that I will have to deal with since I am no longer allowed to have anti inflammatory drugs.  Oh well, it could be worse, I could be FAT!!  I hated myself and I don't anymore and I am so happy with the result.  I'd do it again in a heartbeat.  Looking forward to the Barrie WLS Christmas dinner next weekend.  Think I'll take my new boyfriend :).

Had surgery one month ago tomorrow.  I have lost 44lbs and I feel pretty good.  It's funny how one day you can eat something and feel fine and the next day you eat the same thing and throw it up.  Anyway, all in all, I'm Pretty good and slowly making progress with food.  Seeing the dietician tomorrow in Toronto who will give me some insight into "real food".  Getting a bit tired of blending things but I also realize that solids can really hurt going down sometimes.  Still two weeks off work yet.  It's going to be an organizational nightmare to get food together to take to work.

Had my surgery 10 days ago and I've lost just shy of 30lbs.   It wasn' t that bad, in fact the recovery has been amazing, my blood sugar is wayy down.  Had quite a bit of abdominal swelling so I haven't noticed a huge difference in my clothes yet but I know it will come.

Five days into Optifast and I've lost about 9 lbs.  I'm wearing a pair of capris that I haven't worn all summer because they didn't fit me.  Wow, it's amazing how fast you can actually lose weight.  I think I'm becoming a little less nervous about the surgery, I know I'm going to be just fine.

Ok so I'm on Optifast for the next two weeks.  It tastes like crap but then having diabetes feels like crap.  As I have always said....nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.  I am nervous and have so many mixed emotions about the surgery but I know that it will be life saving for me.  I want to shop at the Boathouse!  I'm going to buy myself a BENCH sweater.
