Here comes the Holiday's

The hernia surgery was a real struggle, but well on the mend now. I have lost 10 more lbs since then, but want to lose 10 more before Christmas, but has been a struggle. Not exercising much, and hoping to remedy that. Looking forward to spending the holiday's with family.
Hernia Surgery

Went for three month post op appointment and now have a hernia by my largest incision. Will be having surgery on it Nov. 19, 2010.
A trip to the ER

Went to the ER on Father's Day and they had to open one incision as it was infected. Cultures came back today and it is a staff infection. Now I have been precribed an antibiotic that I am not sure I can take but I also have a hole in my abdomen that has to be packed with gauze twice a day. Very discourged right now and just want to feel better. Weight loss has been great. Just wish I can get past this point right now.

Optifast

First week of optifast done and not too bad. Been somewhat depressed I guess it is a combination of mourning the loss of food and a friend from high school has a very short time left with her husband due to his illness. Tomorrow I see Dr. Dan and sign release forms for surgery. I believe I have lost 5 lbs the last week and will find out for sure at dr. office tomorrow.

Tomorrow I start my optifast diet. Three weeks until surgery. I am so excited I have waited years for this to happen.
