"My first impression of Dr. Hoddinott was that he was pressed for time, but very kind. He listened to my questions and took the time to answer them; however, I wish I could've spent a bit more time talking to him.rnrnI was most impressed with his level of confidence. He is 100% sure I will be a success as long as I follow his instructions. That made me feel wonderful and at ease about this surgery. My boyfriend, who is worried about this surgery, also felt better after speaking to him.rnrnThe staff was very nice and the best thing was that I didn't have to wait long to see him. That was a plus. rnrnI can't really say there was anything I didn't like with the exception of wanting more time with him. Of course I could've asked him questions all day if I had the chance. I heard this hospital and surgeon are wonderful so I have no doubts.rnrnThere is a structured program you must follow and aftercare is a MUST for him. His surgical competence slightly overshadows his bedside manner - both are outstanding. Overall I'd rate him an 8. We'll see if he gets a 10 after surgery.rnrn<bold>UPDATE:</bold> I'm now 6-weeks post-op and I'd have to say that Dr. H definitely deserves a \"10\" for all that he has done for me. When I call with a concern he is patient and very helpful. He always tries to make me laugh too so I feel at ease.rnrn<b>12+ month update</b> I still think Dr. H is THE BEST. I had a small obstruction last week and he was there for me. It was comforting to see his face - and Debbie's (she's a BIG part of the bariatric team there)too. They are both so wonderful.
