Ok, so I have an appointment, tomorrow.  I have to attend the 10 day diet class, but the nutritionist already and even started the diet 7 days ago.
There is a conflict at work with the dates and I really need to move up the date to 11-7-2011!!  I called once and asked, and of course, no one called back!  They NEVER call back!!

So, I hope there will be a chance to move up the date! I will find out tomorrow!! 

Ok, so I have lost 6 pounds - already started my 10 day diet!!  So, Thursday I have to attend the formal 10 day diet class - then next Thursday 11-10-11, I get my pre-surgery blood work done, Then...Monday 11-14-11,  I have my surgery.

Wow!  I have the date!! 11-14-11.  Well, a little conflict with work, but hopefully I can work it out...but..I have a date!
I had to purchase my protein supplement, lots of vitamins (who knew I am supposed to have chewable).

Why is it --- no one gets in a hurry.  I got BCBS to 're-do' the approval in Dr. Keith's name and fax it over.  I call over there - oh, hang on--no, we don't see it, haven't gotten it yet..oh, they are in clinicals...they will call you back when they get it!!

I tell them, I am off on Thursday the 20th, can I schedule an appt since I have the whole day off??  Oh, they will have to call you back - No call!!

What is the deal?

So, I have the insurance approval, but now the staff at Dr. Keith's office says they must re-submit the docs to get approval in their name!! AHHHHH!
Why does this whole process seem to take so long.  I am sure I am just anxious to get this done and start losing some of this weight!!

So....I am still waiting for my call.  Dr. keith said I would be able to have my surgery within 30 days, but I am getting more concerned as each day goes by - as this just delays my surgery date! 
I think I will call on my lunch today, maybe I can talk to someone.  I wish I knew another patient of Dr. Keith's that I could talk to.

Today I completed my upper GI - yuck - that stuff was nasty.  I called Dr. Keith's office, hoping I could go right over and talk to the dietician about the 10 day diet he requires, but turns out I need an appt! 
So, I have to wait for them to call...hope it is soon!

Ok, so I am actully 251...I met Dr. Keith yesterday - Love him!  he was so nice, I really felt like I could talk to him - he is just a 'normal' person!
I was able to get my psych eval faxed over!!! and I had to get BCBSOK to fax over my approval - so that should all be done!
I have to go Monday to Norman Regional Hosp to drink some Barium so they can x-ray the path I have now so Dr. Keith will know what he needs to do once he gets in there!
He said he thought it will take about 30 days to schedule but that was when he thought it would take 2 weeks for them to get the insurance approval -but since I got that for them yesterday - Hopefully it will be sooner!!!

I am so excited for my appointment tomorrow with Dr. Keith.  I have all my medical records ready - I seem to be missing a copy of my psych eval though.  I hope I can get a copy of it today so I have my file complete.

I am going to try to keep up with these posts as I go.

248 lbs.  I feel horrible.  I cannot believe I am this heavy again.
