Today is my 1 month post-op. I'm down 23 lbs so far. I'm still working with my soft foods. I was told with time things get better. I thank the Lord for blessing me with patience. For a minute, I thought I was trying to experience some anxiety that was making me feel discombobulated. I prayed off that evil spirit that try to steal my joy and listen to gospel music to soothe my soul and spirit.

I am down 20 lbs from my surgery date. I'm on my soft foods at this point for about a full 3 weeks. Last week I was at my moms house and the weather was so bad because a Tornado was in effect.  I was stuck at her house for at least 3 hours until the storm past. I finally got home and was very hungry so I had warmed up this baked catfish from the day before. I guess I ate to fast and the fish got stuck in my pouch. What an awful feeling. I had sharp pains in my back, chest area, and stomach. I read my instructional manual to see what to do. You want believe that I had to drink 1/4 cup of warm water and a teaspoon of meat tenderizer, and squeeze my nose to drink it down. What a nasty taste. I felt so much better within 10 minutes. It pushes everything out your pouch. I hope to never experience that again.

TODAY IS MY FULL TWO-WEEKS. I'M DOWN 15.5LBS AND I FINALLY GET TO START MY PUREED FOODS TOMORROW. I JUST STARTED TO GET TIRED OF LIQUIDS ABOUT 2 DAYS AGO.

My surgery went very well. It's amazing how good I'm moving around. I'm currently on liquids for two full weeks which would end on Monday, April 9th. I happen to get a 2wk visit to see my surgeon instead of one week. I will be patient and not weigh myself until I see my wls surgeon on April 10th.

I'M SCHEDULED FOR THE GASTRIC BYPASS (RNY) ON MARCH 26, 2007
