It's been awhile since posting. I am weighing in at 166 lbs as of yesterday. I can actually wear a size six suit. I have 31 more pounds to lose to reach my goal of 135. Wow! I am almost there.
Still unemployed but doing good. God is my source and resource!!
Till next time.
July 20, 2009 Well it's been a year and 19 days since the revision surgery. I'm weighing in at 196 lbs as of today I'm getting closer to my goal. Till next time.

It's been one year since researching the information about a revision. Since having the revision in July 2008 I have now lost 89 pounds. My goal is to weigh in at 135 pounds with a total loss of 158 pounds. I have 69 pounds more to lose. I feel great and I am very happy to have come this far. I am wearing a size 12 dress suite.
My hope was to be weighing in at 183 pounds by March. However, 11 pounds is real good! Especially since I've been un employed since Dec 08.
Till next time!!
Hello all!! Today is January 22, 2009 I'm weighing in at 220 down from 297 that's 77 lbs since July 1, 2008 Thank you Jesus!
By March I would like to be 183 lbs.
July 1, 2008. Stayed at the Sleep Inn just down from Paradise Valley Hospital. The room was very nice as well as the staff. Taking the shuttle at 630am. Check in time is 7am surgery at 9am. So, I'm typing away at the computer in the lobby. Miss seeing my boys this morning and their wild wonderful welcome! My dogs Sir Comfort and Sir Winsel. Pure breed Yorkie and a Shorkie very lovable pets.
Well, I'm thanking God and His Son Jesus and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit as I make this next leg of my journey in weight loss. Losing weight has been a part of my life since I was a child. One day the weight will all be lost and my prayer is soon. Talk with you later time to go!!
June 11th got the word "I'm approved", so excited to know I can begin again. Surgery scheduled for July 1st 2008. Moving along nothing to do but put the house in better order and wait for the date. I put out a request for an angel as my primary support is not able to come up for the surgery. I 've had wonderful response for pt's with Dr. Eric Schlesinger on the revision site.
April 25, 08 All Labs done and they look good per my PCP. She has me on iron x2 a day I can feel the change in increased energy. My psy Dr. stated I was depressive normal having received my test results. So, now I just need the report submitted to surgery Dr. to start process of insurance approval.
The time frame of getting all these things done is on target. I would like the revision done at the end of May or in June. However, I'm in school and if I need to stay out for four weeks it would be better to have it done between the end of July .
I don't want to wait that long which is a problem as I never like to wait for anything. I saw a post that down time is for two weeks if that is the case maybe I can have surgery in May or June.
Till next time.

In 2003 I had the RNY gastric bypass. Dr. Daniel Fang in Phx performed the surgery at St. Luke's Hosp. I have had no complications from the surgery. It went so will laporcopicly that I asked the Dr. if he really did the surgery.
The weight just dropped off and I followed the instructions from the Bridges program. My lowest weight was 202. Down from 320. I started gain weight but I was very absorbed in my ministry and work that I didn't pay close attention to it. I was walking six miles three times a week.
Major life changes started in 2005 and continued till 2007. In June of 2007 I was back up to 273 lbs. I went back to trying to diet and needless to say here I am at 297 lbs. Wow what a ride.
My right knee is hurting again from arthritis the left is starting too. Started looking into Obesity help again, hadn't been on site in a long time. Things had changed but I discovered there were more folks out here like me. As a result I started the journey to find a Dr. who would do a revision.
On this past Thursday, April 3 I met with Dr. Eric Schlesinger in Phx for a consult on a revision. I left his office very much encouraged we will do an extended as I already have a proximal for the rny. I looked into the DS and thought this would be the best but with the information provided I can see the wisdom of the extended rny.
