I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK on your surgery. Take a deep breath, try to relax. Know that we all care about you and are wishing you the best. Think positive, it really does help. After surgery, REMEMBER, turn, cough, take deep breaths, and walk to prevent complications. Hold your incision when you cough, it helps it hurt less. Keep your profile updated, it may make a difference in the live of someone else. Smile, keep your chin up! And lastly, if your chin does fall, just remember, from this position it is easier to moon people! :) (Also, humor helps too!)

Jennipher, Thank you so much for sharing with me about Crohn's. I am 51 and have a wonderful husband, a daughter age 30, a son age 28 and two grandsons ages 10 and 7. I have been so blessed and I know having this surgery is the best thing I can do for myself. I am so glad you responded to my plea. I will be thinking of you often in the next couple of weeks and praying for a safe and easy time while you recoup. Please email me your address aat your hospital so I can find out about your surgery. HUGS Carolyn Skinner

Hi Jennipher, I want to say congrats on getting your approval letter, half the battle is over now (the big stressful part anyways). I wanted to comment on your friend, and her comments to you. I told a few people in the beginning, but told almost everyone right before I had my surgery, and alot had to do with not having the negative comments. A couple weeks before my surgery, I had someone BEG me not to have it done, she would help me anyway possible, just don't have the surgery. I just politely told her I had made up my mind, and I was having this done, but thanks for her concern. That is all you can do. I wish you the very best for your surgery. YOU HAVE MADE A WONDERFUL DECISION TO BETTER YOUR HEALTH AND LIFE. Good luck ~ Sandy
