Week 3 Begins

Had VSG surgery in Mexicali Mexico March 28/12.  Two weeks ago.  My surgeon has me on four weeks of pureed foods beginning one week post-op.  I'm already sick of pureed foods.  I was soooo eagre to start on them last week, and things tasted soooo good those first few days.  Now I can hardly face meal times, and can't stop thinking about a slice of WW toast with a little peanut butter.  Two weeks away before I can think about trying that ....

I started my journey @ 248lbs.  Pre-op diet took me to 235.6 and am already at 220.8 (I think, my bathroom scale fluctuates a little).  THAT feels good .

Incisions are doing ok, but itchy as hell.  I'm sure that's a sign of healing but makes me feel uncomfortable a lot of the time and drives me to spend as much time in jammies with no bra as possible.

Still afraid to try sleeping on my left side since my first try day 3 post op.  May never try again.  It was THAT unpleasant.

That's all for now - off for a chocolate mint protien shake.  Taking two of those a day since I can't possibly manage to get anywhere near the required amount of protien with my puree torture sessions.  Have a nice day .
