Hi Lori, thanks for the good wishes! It's funny, I read in your profile that your first consult was on Aug. 29th, so was mine! That's really something, now we have the same surgery date! That's gotta be good luck! All the best to you too! Take care, and I'll be watching for your updates!

Hi Lori, Thanks for the good wishes. Yes, we do have the same surgery date and I too will be thinking of you when I go in. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am for surgery at 7:30. I hope that someone watches over all of us and I wish you a very speedy, uneventful recovery. I will look for updates from your mom. Take care and congratulations! Hugs,

Hi Lori, I have the same insurance with the same exclusion and then states (unless diagnosed with morbid obesity). How long did it take for UHC to approve? I go for my consultation 4/13/01 and then I will be doing the waiting game for approval. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
