This is my first time signing up for a site like this one. I am soo excited to have the surgery I can hardly wait. I have read profiles for months, waiting for the Ins. company to approve me. I was dreaming of the day I would get the call that I had been approved. That day was 2 weeks ago. The soonest they could schedule me was July 3rd, so I will be in the hospital on the 4th but WHO CARES!!!! I can not think of a better place to be! My story is a little different then most I have read in that I was not majorley over weight ALL my life. I was one of those people that managed to starve myself when my life was not going good! So, all the "bad" times in my life came with weight lose, I was NEVER skinny but I managed to get down to around 145 2 times in the last 20 years. Both times were when I was going through horiffic ordeals. When I am happy and life is good, I can not control my weight, or my cholestrol, or my sugar, or my acid reflux, or my........so on and so on.....! The hardest thing for me so far (understand, I haven't even had the surgery yet) is the STOP SMOKING, that was a tuffy for me!!! Wish me luck to stay smoke free the rest of my life and I will keep you posted!!
