I should have known better than to be happy that I was off pain meds, let alone post it.  With Halloween, three kids, and three dogs, I got distracted and leaned over to the right and picked up my puppy in his carrier and brought him inside.  No pain yet, but later in the evening my left side started to hurt.  It got worse and I took a pain med.  In the night I woke up and sat foreward, and snap.  Agony in my LUQ.  No bleeding no swelling etc.  It got better with a day of rest, but when will I learn not to say anything emphatically.

  After going through this process, with a surgery date next week (10-27), I have the final auth ok.  Yay!  I had to threaten the head of the ins co and the queen on the utilization review dept, but at least it's done.  Just wanted to share. Leslie
