Almost 3 years now!!! I feel great and look great. No complications. I have noticed over the years that the way certain meats are cooked or the type of cut I cant eat. This is my update. 

WOW...its been almost 2 years and it seems like I was never heavy....other than when i look at my legs!!!! (thighs that is).
I've maintained my weight but the inches just keep coming off!!! Im kinda scared about thatcause im comfortable where im at...so this was my quick update and i add some new photos as well...

WOW....alot has happened in 1 year. but I do LOOK GOOD now. kudos to my Dr..  Well the weight loss has slowed but the inches keep going down. But I have this issue with numbers. I want to lose another 40-50 lbs, but some people tell me I look just fine where Iam at.

Wow, it's hard to believe it's only been 10 months.I been stable for a few weeks at 190lbs. thats down 118 pounds total since surgery. I still forget to take vitamins and drink my protien, every other day I remember.

Well it's been 8 months and I just hit my 100 pound mark on Sunday the 22nd . I'm sooooo happy. My hair is very thin but it's doable. it's starting to grow a little. Things are much easier now than before, but I do forget to take vitamins and drink my shakes. I also forget to eat because I never feel HUNGRY!!!! Well thats it for now I just wanted to update.

Well it's been 6 months now and I feel GREAT. I just had my Drs. appt and he said I'm doing good. They did some kinda of metabolic test on me to check how much muscle you lose verses fat. I had a 2/10ths of a pound of muscle loss. Which means I've lost no muscle and ALL FAT which is GREAT. I am very proud of myself.I have lost a total of 80.9 lbs.

Well now lets see Im down 65 lbs and 8 pants sizes. The inches are coming off like crazy but the weight is kinda of at a plateu. But that just means I have to work harder. My hair is thinning and know i have to find a new do. Well till next time.

Well the morning of surgery . HOORAY!!!!!!!
Everything went well. I was sore but the doc had inserted a pump that kept the insides NUMB for a couple of days. I also was given a pain pump that would give me some pain meds every five mins. if i needed it. I had to stay in the hosp. 1 extra day WHY because i happened to be the 1 out of every 100 to have problems. It actually was the pain pump med that i had an reaction to. But today 9 days later i FEEL GREAT!!!  I went to my Dr. today. he said my incisions look great, keep on track using my NEW TOOL and said I could go back to work light duty of course. I've also had a 15 POUND LOSS. YAAAAA!!!
NOW i am definitely on the LOSER BENCH.

I've been trying to get approval since Dec. 2006. After 3 appeals i got a letter saying I could go to a CONSULT, and I did. I went to the seminar  on August 7th, 2007. It took me 3 weeks to get all my paperwork in. I then seen a Phsyc. on Sept 17. My Drs office sent my papers for approval on Sept 27th and on Oct 1st I got my CALL saying I WAS APPROVED! My surgery is Oct 29th .
