I haven't posted in a while....I've been enjoying my weight loss!  Im feeling great, watching what I eat, walking and i'm still losing.  Im down to 238 lbs now.  My pants are baggy and my shirts are just hanging on me. I am so glad I made this decision.  I just wish and this is just a wish that my Rheumatoid Arthritis would go away!  I know it's here to stay, but if it wants to stay, it needs to know how to act!  Peace and love everybody.

My drain has been removed and I am feeling great!  Down 30 lbs from pre op diet til' now.  (10 lbs after surgery).  I can consume about 2-3 ozs before feeling full.  Staying hydrated, which is very important and it's also to prevent nausea!  We can't have that happening.  Not a good feeling at all!  Looking forward to my weigh in next week with my surgeon.   I will update everyone then!  Happy losing!

Wow,  Monday (my surgery date) has come and gone  and I have been sleeved! . What an experience.  Hard to believe that 1oz of liquid could fill me up, but it does. Still sleeping on my back because i don't want to irritate my wounds
 by laying on my stomach.

My stomach feels like I did a million sit ups and drinking water makes me queasy. Doctor's remedy is to mix crystal light to water or drink G2  to eleviate that feeling.  Pretty soon i'll be up and about without any discomfort. All n All, my surgery went very well. Doctor Broderick was very pleased with the outcome.

I have to give Kudos to the nurses at Alta Bates Medical Center,  They were very nice and very helpful.

I will keep everyone posted with my progress,  Hope all is well with everyone whether you are pre-op surgery or post-op surgery.

The time is nearing and boy, am I nervous, but mostly excited to start my new life.  Monday is my surgery date at 8:30 a.m. I am down 23.5 pounds and hope to lose the rest of it after surgery! I've done my "special foods" shopping, all that's left is a good cleaning of the house and a few loose ends to tie up and I am ready.  My  pre op appointment is tomorrow and my labs are on Friday, hope all goes well.
