I just had my one week post op doc appointment. I wanted my first food that I eat in over a week to be delicious so sf chocolate pudding is AMAZING. plus it has a little protein from the milk. Good day today :)

So I came home from the hospital on Sunday the 14th. It was really rough for me right after surgery. Each day was getting drastically better than the day before. I'm in phase 1 right now and have been drinking water, diluted juice, and protein drinks (which I actually find delicious!). I still get pretty sore and need to use the pain killers, but it really has been getting easier.

hey everyone. my name is robin and i'm hopefully going to have gastric bypass surgery soon. my mom is 7 months post op at this point (fran_pa) and she is my biggest support through this. my first pre op doctors appointment is next wednesday. so i guess consider this my update number one. :)
