"My initial impression was quite good. He was soft spoken, yet approachable. His office is small -- he has two nurses, both of whom have been helpful so far. Currently (July 2002), Dr Cook is only performing this surgery open, which is the only negative I have to offer right now. My surgery is scheduled for July 17. He plans to offer the lap procedure in the next year. Weight Loss Surgery is new to Montgomery; most procedures in Alabama have been done in Birmingham/Alabaster and Mobile. "
