5 year anniversary

Oct 28, 2013

Yesterday marked my 5 year anniversary. I can not believe it has been 5 years. If anyone tells you this is the easy way out they do not know what they are talking about. It is a day struggle and a total lifetime change. I still catch myself from time to time falling back into the trap of my past but I have to stop and refocus. Do I have all the answers by all means no? I still struggle and probably will for the rest of my life. I still have good eating days and bad ones when nothing stays down or able to eat. But overall I would not change a thing about the last 5 years. I am trying to get back on track with eating and exercise to overcome the down times. Looking forward to seeing my grandson grow-up and future grandchildren also. Have a blessed day!!

one year

Oct 30, 2009

It is hard to believe it has been one year on 10/27. I am 5 lbs. from my goal and very pleased with the weightloss. I guess now I need to update my picture. I  look back at the past year and have decided that I would do it all over again. I finally have my life back and feel good about myself. I still have times when I look at myself and see the overweight person but that is getting better.

9 month update

Jul 28, 2009

Just a few months until I reach my year mark. It is hard to believe that it is going on a year. I have 15 lbs to go to reach my goal and I am determined to make it before my year mark. Over all I feel great. I have more energy and enjoy going to the gym to workout something I have never wanted to do.I did have a slight set back due to my weightloss. I had to have surgery on my coccyx becuase it was deformed and causing much pain. they took 4 inches off in hopes that it will correct the issue. Now if I can just set on my butt again everything will be great. Other than that I feel great. Hope everyone is having great success and look forward to hearing about you results. Have a great week!!

Will this last 20 lbs ever come off?

May 08, 2009

I am down to my last 20 lbs before I reach my goal weight. I am wondering if it will ever come off. I feel better than I have in years and I am off all my meds. It has been almost 7 months since surgery and I can't believe the changes. I am currently down from a size 20 to size 6-8. That fear is always there that you will fail and gain all the weight back but I am determined never to go back to that life again. I have started increasing my exercise so hopefully that will help with the last 20 lbs. Good luck everyone in your weightloss.
