Hello I want to take this time to thank all of you who have sent me emails and prayers. I am now a week into my new life and have many many questions worries and wonders but I am feeling very chipper today and prayer will get me thru. I am scared of failure still of some how messing this up but I am trying to remain calm. I want to thank my Angel for trying to help my 3 day stay in icu was harsh and scary but the third day I was able to come home. I had to go back to hospital because of a horrible allergic reaction to the loratab liquid that sent me into a bad asthma attack thursday but with steroid shot and eppie and breathing treatments I am back home okay I really dont have much pain but find myself confused about what my pouch should feel like when i drink the liquid i almost feel like it is not there but I know it is. Again thank you all for you well wished and continued support it help a great deal to know that there are people who know what I am feeling. with LOVE Robin

Angel flying in with an update: Robin Menking came through surgery just fine yesterday. She spent the night in ICU and is having her leak test now. If her leak test is ok, she'll be moved to a regular room after lunch. I plan on visiting Robin later today if she's ready for visitors. As soon as I have a room # and phone # for her, I'll post again. Robin is in Rex, by the way. Robin needs our continued prayers. -- beetle baby
