Surgery when?

Last week I was scheduled for surgery on Sept 9th. Monday at 3 PM my surgeon called me with
bad news. My calcium level is very elevated. So for now I am back to waiting for a clearance from my newest doctor, an endocrinologist who has to find out what is causing this problem, and what I need to do to fix it......
I had just packed what I was bringing to the hospital. I have no idea when I will be back on the schedule.

Very close, Sept 9, hurricane permitting....

Today is Saturday, Sept 6, everything is tested, scheduled and in place for Tuesday...... this time my only obstacle is a nasty hurricane named Ike. If it stays south below the Florida Keys, I'm a go. Anything else is most likely a no go. Who would have thought my only worry is to be pre-empted by weather. Have to go now, the weather channel awaits.
