Hi! I had to do 6 months of supervised weight loss surgery, see a psychiatrist and nutritionist for insurance approval. I found Dr. Curry while doing research on line. I got on a site where you could see pictures of patients of Dr. Curry's. I recognized a girl from my hometown. She had the lapband done. I talked to her, she told me how well she liked Dr. C and his staff. I had an instructor who had surgery from a different Dr. but had asked Dr. C some questions and he answered her. I emailed him and got a reply the same day. Went to a seminar, and signed up that day. I met the insurance criteria on Dec 2nd. Now I had to come up with the money that needed to be pd upfront while we waited for approval. Told 3 or morte weeks before we'd hear anything. 8 days later we were approved. 2 weeks later we had the money sent in and got a surgery date. Jan. 20th I had the gastric sleeve. I have been doing great. I lost inches more then weight at first. In two days it will be 2 months since surgery. I have lost about 25 lbs and 26 inches. Some weeks I lose alittle faster then other weeks. It is nice to hear people tell me they can see me "melt" from week to week.
