It is getting a little closer. I am not nervous just worried about the incoveince to my family at this time of the year. It will all work out I am doing a lot of planning and getting organized.
Well, this waiting is making me crazy, but there is a lot going on around me to stay busy until my big day. I talked with the hospital yesterday, and I will have to pay them $3, 600 when I register. That is the left over part that my insurance won't cover. So, I better start saving my pennies.
I have a date!!!! I have a date!!! My surgery date is Dec. 12th, 2006. I am so excited. I can't wait. My Dr. appt went really well, and the scheduling was so easy. I have a couple more appt.s with the dietician, PT, and Psych. in a couple of weeks. I can't wait.
Oct. 10th 2006 I meet my surgeon today at 4 pm. I am so excited and I have so many questions. It feels so good to get this process moving. Wish me luck, I am making the 3 hour drive by myself, but it should give me plenty of time to think about stuff.
Wow, this week is going so slow.....I meet with my sugeon and get the 'skinny' on getting skinny a week from today.
I am so excited- I have my first Dr. appt made with the surgeon. I think I will have total of 4 appts. before surgery. The office is 3 hours away and the hospital will be as far from my home, but I will enjoy the drive.
Yeah!!!!!!!! I have approval from my insurance company!!! I called the Dr. office to start making appts. and they want to wait until they receive my approval letter (should be by the end of the week). I am so excited, several of my friends have had great outcomes with RNY. My life is good now, but I want to be able to run, play, and feel good.
Aug. 30, 2006 I am more convinced that I have to have this surgery for myself, my husband, and beautiful kids. I am excited, the insurance has had my stuff for 2 1/2 weeks, I need to call and bug them tomorrow. I think I have found a partner for thin. :)
I want my 30's to be better than my 20's. I have sent my info in to the surgeon, awaiting approval from insurance co.
