Hi Roxana-- Just want to let you know that I just had my surgery on December 20, and things go so fast! Yesterday was my one week anniversary! You are so close! Anyway, the 8 pounds I gained in the hospital (gain is inevitable because they pump you full of fluids during surgery) PLUS fourteen extra pounds are OFF! My doctor, right before surgery, and right after surgery, with a twinkle in his eye, said, "If you follow the program, you will lose 150 pounds IN A YEAR." I like that idea! I was 315 when I went in for my consult in August. By surgery, I had eaten everything I wanted to for the past few months, and was 330. I'm now 316! And my checkup is on the eighth! Hey Roxana.. Good luck with upcoming surgery and we can be sisters in surgery. I am having surgery on 1/27/03. Just a couple of weeks apart and 3,000 miles away. Hey, with cyberspace that nothing in distant. Godspeed your recovery. Have you ever gone to the chat on this site. It is a busy place. I have been a few times. judyfromnj;^)
