I have definately decided to have WLS. I just don't know which one. I initially chose the Lapband because it is less invasive. But does this mean that it's also less effective? I know that they say that the weight loss for the Lapband and RNY equals out in the long run, but RNY seems to work faster. I guess I would just like to get up off the operating table 150 lbs lighter. Hope I'm not stressing for nothing. But is the lapband the right way to go? With all my ailments, should I risk having RNY?
