Never thought having to introduce yourself would be so difficult....lol.....HMMMM... Well I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter. Besides God our father, they are the joy and love of my life. I have been married for over 9 years and my daughter is 2 years old. She is truly a gift from God. I tried to have a baby for 5 years before getting my blessing. A lot of difficulty due to me being overweight. Even though all of my family has been extremely supportive of my VSG, not all of my friends have. So I am looking forward to meeting new ones that are going through the same stuff and are very understanding, as well honest even when I don't want them to be.
Thanks for every ones support so far you guys have helped me tremendously and I am only post-op 1 week. I have been overweight my whole adult life and one day my daughter and I were out with other mothers and their children at a Park and I was the only mother who couldn't go down the slide with my daughter and she keep asking me to slide down with her but I couldn't so I had to ask a pregnant mother who was tiny compared to me to please take her down. That did it for me at that time I told my husband I am going to do something about weight NOW.
