Ain't Life grand!

Rugman 21 years, 4 months ago

ON the 27th of December I will be 8 months post surgery. It has been the best 8 months I have spent in many years. I have now gone thru Thanksgiving and Almost Christmas and I have had a good attitude about the "Menu" change and "amount of food consumed" change. The missing 22 inches in my waist and the total of over 100 inches missing along with 190 lbs missing has made the change much easier. I am really having to let discipline settle in now as my appetite is much better now since my surgery. I am tolerant of more food now..so .. my excercise and my diet are very important now. Thanks to all who encouraged me..I hope to be an encouragement to someone else... God Bless Each of You!

Last week at this time I was sitting here wondering what it would be like a week later... well I have the answer.. WONDERFUL!! I walked one mile today... went to Wal-mart with my wife an son.. got to good sugar free stuff along with stuff for my diet... and then took them to wendys.. they ate their favorite meal.. I sipped on some coffee.. happy as a lark and not hungry at all. Well so much for today.. I will report again after my follow up trip to my doctor on Wednesday. See ya !
