Ruppy
I got married 22 years ago to my high school sweetheart. We have two beautiful daughters, ages 18 and 20. I grew up on a farm and when I got married we moved to town. In combination with my wifes wonderful cooking and limited exercise, the weight started sticking! In November 2007, I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure at age 41. I have been trying to lose weight ever since with no success. With my CHF I have very limited exercise ability. I get winded very easily. I am also restricted to lifting no more than 20lbs the rest of my life. I am also on a strict diet with a limit of 2000 mg sodium and 2 quarts of fluid per day. My CHF doctors suggested I think about having weight loss surgery. I have been doing some research on gastric bypass. I have also attended the required bariatric educational seminar and contacted my insurance agency. I also asked my general practioner and my CHF doctors to send a letter of recommendation to the bariatric clinic. Last week I received a call from the bariatric clinic to get my process started. I can't wait to get the surgery completed and get my life on track. I have many years to give my family yet!
