"From my first meeting I have no qualms about letting Dr Sonnanstine do my WLS. Will update as necessary. rnrn After having the surgery I am glad to have chosen Dr. Sonnanstine to perform my WLS. He was very attentive to all that happened during and after the surgery. He was in to see me in my room 2-3 times a day at least. My mom was there for support and Dr. Sonnanstine took the time to explain everything to her and help her set any fears to the side.rnrn Dr. Sonnanstine is very big on aftercare. His program has four classes you attend before you even have the surgery. After WLS there is post-op classes every month, along with a follow-up visit with both the psychologist and nutritionist. Thats not counting the number of times you will see him the rest of your life.rnrn I cannot recommend him more than this is the only Dr you want doing this surgery. You would just about be crazy to let anyone else perform WLS on you. Well unless you just can't afford the airfare to get here to let Dr. Sonnanstine do your surgery.rnrn Both his surgical competence and bedside manner are top notch. He is an excellent choice to perform WLS"
