Aug. 22, 2011-- post op day 5-- Mon
Home alone. Sweet yet boring. Will have to start 2 antibiotics for cystitis. This was problem before surgery and catheter during didn't help. "Aint gonna get me down." Still moving and grooving.
Aug. 21, 2011--post op day 4-- Sun
Slowly feeling better. GI problems still the same. Movement is going great. Still having trouble getting down 2 shakes and water. No nap.
Aug. 20, 2011--post op day 3--Saturday
Feel like i'm 9mos. pregnant with gas, indigestion, and bloating. Hurting more. Moving around slower too. Got 2 shakes in maybe that's why. Took my own shower. Felt human but exhausted.
Aug. 19, 2011--post op day 2--Friday
Feel better. discharged early then home. Had one protein shake. Really starting to bloat, gas, indigestion, and diarrhea.
Progress is ugly, it's a man. lol
Aug. 18, 2011--post-op day 1
Ok, I wasn't expected the pain. Got my catheter out, antibiotics done, IV toradol, Demerol done. Now only shots for pain. Need those every 4hrs. Up in the hall 3times today. Very sore changing positions or locations but I'm rocking it?!?
Sips of protein shake. Wanted ice chips and water more.
Aug. 17, 2011--Surgery
Didn't know enough to be afraid. Just excited. Scheduled at 0800 to be at hospital but actually went back about 1200.
After surgery was very drugged up so no pain. Visited and talked with guests. It's done! Thank you Lord for keeping me safe.
