I just talked to Chastity's mom. Chas just got out of surgery about 30 minutes ago. Her surgery took about three hours, but it went fine. The nurses had a hard time getting an IV in her this morning, so the anesthesiologist had to do it for her. Right now, she is in recovery and still has the tube down her throat, which they are going to leave in until she completely wakes up (that sucks!). They expect her to be moved to her own room in 2 or 3 hours. I will call for an update tomorrow, when things aren't so crazy for her family (there are about 2 dozen family members there!). It's time to welcome another loser into this world!
