"I had my initial consult with Dr Clough on July 12th, 2006. I was immediately put at ease by his soft spokedness. He sure knows this procedure and has done it for years. I feel so relieved and confident that I have made the right choice for me, in choosing him for the open gastric bypass. He shoots from the hip, and no sugar coating from him. I had taken off 10 pounds from the beginning of my journey, til I met with him. He was happy about that, and made me feel awesome about everything. I was told of the risks, and he didn't try to gloss over them. He made sure that I understood the different possible complications, and the measures that he takes to minimize them. He definately has taken the worry out of this for me. I also like the fact that he periodically attends the support group that is held at EMMC, I was able to catch him there, got some last minute questions answered, and he also was gracious enough to give me a few minutes of one on one time, to answer a question and concern that I had."
