Down only 8lbs this month but a loss of 11 1/2 inches. I feel great and am starting to feel like me again! I love my sleeve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been an AWESOME journey so far. Down 53 lbs. and 22 1/2 inches. A size 24 to a 16 in jeans and 3x to an xl in shirts. I've found I can tolerate most foods and do great with meats. I LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems amazing to me that I had surgery only 5 days ago. I feel great! I've lost 11lbs. Got to have a protien shake today. Wow! So, thick and rich. Actually made me gag several times, but did ok eventually. Funny it's the textures that effect me the most. Warm is better than cold, with the exception of popcisles. It's good to be alive! My surgeon is AWESOME!!!!!

Surgery next week

Wow! Surgery is now a week away, it has been a long journey but a worthwhile one. I'm currently healhier than I've been in years thanks to all the pre-op testing. I've quit smoking and don't even miss it. I'm exercising and actually enjoy it. Who would've thought that could happen. I know alot of people from my support group but yet to meet anyone who's had the sleeve. Gastric bypass and the band seem more popular. The world is mine to conquer.
A Surgery date at last!

Was beginning to think a date was never going to happen. One problem after another but at last all health issues are resolved and surgey is 18 days away. Diabeties was found in my first labs with an a1c of 10.9 which is now 6.5. If you're having problems like this just do whatever your doctors say will resolve the issue and stay strong. Pray and have faith and you will get through it.
