Sandra, I am having my surgery on 02/28/03, just a few days before you. I too am a Navy wife. We moved from that area last year to Northern Virginia. Still have many friends down there. I hope all goes well with you and if you can, keep me posted.

Hello Sandra! It was so good of you to come and visit me at the hospital. I want to tell you that I am feeling great! I'm walking for 30 minutes, staying busy, no knapping, calling in to work to get information so that I stay informed....you name it. I even went shopping. Drs. Spencer and Newman are wonderful surgeons. It only took 2 days to get back on my feet. I know that your friend is probably going to be your angel, but if you need encouragement and support, let me know. You have my business card, just page me and I'll call you right back.
