Christa~Congrats on your fabulous weightloss. You should be so proud of yourself. I too had the DS. I am wondering what kind of post op vitamins your doctor has you taking and how have your labs been? I am comparing. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Christa, your travels through this process are almost identical to mine. I too was just weeks away from RNY and changed gears. As matter fact, had the travel to NY not have been so far, we would have ended up with the exact same doctor. You are more fortunate though to get to have lap as I had to have open but still, I don't regret the switching gears. I am one month out and feeling pretty good and have lost 50lb already. I hope everything goes great for you too and that you have a speedy recovery. It's a scary thing to do but the results are worth it.
