"I had my first appointment with Dr. Wetter yesterday, 7/14/03. What a wonderful Doctor. He was very personable. He gave both my husband and me a warm welcome. He spent quite some time with us explaining all about bariatric surgery. He was very open and honest. He let you know that this surgery is just a tool and I will have to work at this as well. He encouraged me to eat only 3 balanced meals a day and excercise to loose some weight first so that the surgery would have the best outcome possible. I was encouraged by this because I didn't feel he was negative in any way. It wasn't threatening but more that the Doctor had your best interest in mind. That is a big plus. I know that I am just starting out with this but what a great way to start. I definetly felt at peace about this whole process because of how Dr. Wetter presented himself to me. I would recommend Dr. Wetter to any one considering bariatric surgery."
