The day before...

Well had my "last dinner" out with my husband and kids yesterday. Today I took my colon cleanser and boy does it feel and taste awful. I know it's working because I want to vomit so much!!! I can't believe that I have finally made it to this day and am keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well tomorrow before surgery. I'm a little conflicted about this but am moving straight ahead because I can't live in this fat body anymore.

I have 4 days left until surgery. I went for my pre-ops and surgeon appointment yesterday. It was a longggg day and soo much info to take in. My health issues and 15 meds really had us trying to figure out what to the night before and the day of surgery. I woke up at 4am and my mind clicked into gear and started thinking about all of the prep I need to do and all of the emotions I am feeling. It's taken 9 years to finally get to this and I'm scared, ambivalent in some ways and prepared for any problems including death. Monday can't get here soon enough!
