13 months post-op

I am 13 months post-op and still feeling really good. I thought the holidays were challenging with all of the Christmas goodies around everywhere. My weight did fluctuate but I am happy to report that I am maintaining at 143, a 137 pound lost. I am still amazed. My personal goal would be to weigh around 135 and I am working slowly towards that. I am in no rush as my real goal is to be healthy and strong. I am a little frustrated with the extra skin on my belly and inner thighs but, in clothes, I look fine. When I started this journey, I was just hopeful to someday wear a size 12. I wear a 6 now, which is so unbelieveable to me. My head still has some catching up to do with my body as I continue to see myself as a big person. When someone says to me, "you are small" it is really hard for me to believe still.
One year post-op tomorrow!

Well, I am 9 months post op and I continue to feel great. I have lost 128 pounds and am about 15 pounds from goal and just 6 pounds overweight! (That is just amazing to me!) I feel great and am having fun shopping for size 8s! (That to me is a miracle!)

Six months post-op tomorrow and I continue to feel great; I am down about 109 pounds which is just amazing to me. I am continuing my exercise which really makes me feel even better! (I can't believe I am saying that!)

I hit the 100 pound mark today! I am actually down 101 pounds and I feel wonderful! I started the day off at the pool swimming and am hoping to make that a new part of my exercise routine! I wanted to hit 100 pound lost by this weekend (I work at a school and it is graduation weekend) and I did it! Even though it's only been 5 1/2 months I feel like a different person. I am happier and healthier than I have been in so long. Sometimes I have to look in the mirror twice because I don't always recognize myself. What a feeling!
