Congratulations on your surgery date. It will be here before you know it. Don't be scared, you have been preparing for this day for months, maybe even years. Take all you have learned, take it one day at a time and you will do fine. We are here for you.

Thanks for the encouraging words! I will be sending good vibes to you on your day! My mother is 14 years out so I can relate to having someone as a RNY role model :) when do you start your liquid diet?

Sarah, Hi, I am also having RNY a day after you. I wish you the best Sarah. My sister and my niece have both had the surgery and have done well. My sister is 7 years out. I don't know if you are feeling scared like I am but I believe we both will experience a new life after surgery.
