So it has been 6 months since my surgery and I feel free for the first time in my life. What an amazing gift this has been!  I have lost 76 pounds and I can move like a normal person again.  I am lucky enough to have my husband and my best friend all wrapped up into one person.  Fred has been my biggest cheerleader and my personal trainer.  He has held my hand and kept me motivated every step of the way.  Our marriage is so much better than it was 6 months ago and it is only going to get better from here.  I am proud of myself for the first time in a very long time.  Yay me!!  I can not wait to see what the next 6 months bring.
Life is looking up while the scale is going down.
