Hi Sherrie. Just wanted to send warm wishes. I had surgery with Dr. Kamelgard just 3 weeks ago and I am doing terrific! I have to say he is really the best surgeon I've known and the hospital staff is great too. Good luck! YOu will be in my thoughts!

Sherrie, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. Just a quick note to wish you a swift surgery and a quick recovery. We have the same surgery date! I have my pre-ops 2 days before you but we'll pass over on the same day. Too cool! May the angels be watching over you and please keep in touch to let me know how you are doing!

Sherrie, rest assured, it is normal to feel the way your feeling. I used to read the posts of the people that were scared now that they have a date, and I would think, wow, how can they be scared, they got approved. Then when I got my approval, and a date, I had the same feelings, and I thought that was really strange. But, the week before my date, after I did all my pre-ops, I had all the comfort in the world, knowing I did my homework, had all the research "I" needed to know, and that I would be fine. There is no way to know when your time is up. No reason to believe your going to be "the one". Just like flying, and driving fast, you take chances, and your always home safely. You have been through surgery before, and you know the unknown. Hang in there, and just know, your totally normal with the thoughts, and fears. Your going to do just GREAT! Congrats, and hope you feel welcome when your inducted into the "CLUB"!
