My surgery is scheduled for next Monday (11/23), had my pre-op appointment with the surgeon yesterday. He said everything was going good and he's happy with my pre-surgery weight loss. Still haven't told some of my family members yet not sure that I will.

Wow was I surprised when I went in for my weekly clinic and I had lost 7.9 lbs. I wasn't expecting that much, but I was so happy. Drinking these shakes and eating the bars have been difficult, but I'm managing.

I will be having surgery on 11/23/09 and I just started my liquid diet last Thursday. I am struggling to get the shakes down. Not that they taste that bad, but for some reason I am gagging on them. I get weighed in tonight and hoping that I have lost a bit of weight.
