It's been quite a while since I've been on here -- it's been a bittersweet year.  I'm down 116 pounds and feel great.  It's kind of at a standstill now, but that's okay -- I don't want to lose anymore.  I'm in a size 10/12 depending on the clothes, and that's exactly where I want to be.

What an emotional year!!!!!

I am now down 36 pounds -- how wonderful!

However, I must say, this is the HARDEST thing I have EVER gone through emotionally!  Some days I'm fine, but other days I am so down I just don't know what to do.

I hope everyone else has it easier.

Had my two-week dr appt today and I am down 18.2 pounds!  I'm finally on the losing side. :):):)  The downfall, I have to stay on the Full Liquid diet for another two weeks -- YUK!!!  I need real food!!! :):):):)

I had surgery on 2/21/07 and was so excited.  I did very well with it and was home on 2/23/07.  Out of six incisions, I've only really had pain in one of them...they tell me that's the one Dr. Clark manipulated the most.  I was doing really well with everything until two days ago....I started having the emotions I had hoped I wouldn't.  I started wondering why on earth did I do this to myself.....I want real food....Will I ever be normal again.......I have just cried and cried.  I know it will get better, but right now, I'm just in a funk.

My husband and children have been WONDERFUL!!!!  My husband came home with a mustang -- my dream car (not a '65, but a '06) -- I'll take it! :):):)  He's such a sweetie!

I go to the doctor on Monday, so I'm hoping I've lost some pounds and maybe that will lift my spirits some.

YAHOO!!!!  They said the surgery is a go as long as I don't have a fever.  I've been taking my temp all morning to be sure -- so far, so good!

I have developed a cold over the weekend...not good!  I have left a message for the clinic to find out if they can still do surgery even though I have this cold....will be anxiously waiting to hear.

Pray that they can!!!!!

I met with the clinic yesterday for my final meeting before my surgery.  Lots of paperwork! :)  But it's completed!  YEA!!!! 

Five days and counting!!!!!

I had all my tests done at the hospital today....THANK GOODNESS!  The doctor said I was young and healthy and will do fine!!! HOORAY!!! :)

Two weeks to go until I'm on the losing side!!!!!!

Had my three hour pre-op class yesterday.....it was very informative and met several nice people who will be having surgery around the same time as mine......we will be walking the halls together! :)
